Call for Applications to the Local Housing Solutions Institute
The NYU Furman Center and Abt Associates are pleased to announce the first-ever Local Housing Solutions Institute (the Institute) and invite applications from interested cities or counties. The Institute is a five-day working retreat to help cities and counties refine and strengthen their housing strategies to better meet their affordability and other housing challenges. The Institute is funded by a grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and will be held September 16-20 at West Creek Ranch in Montana.
Four-to-six cities or counties will be selected to attend the Institute through a competitive process. Delegations of three-to-six senior officials from each selected locality will travel to the West Creek Ranch in Montana to share their knowledge and experience, learn from and get feedback on their housing strategies from officials in other participating cities and Local Housing Solutions faculty, and build lasting relationships that lay the groundwork for future collaboration and continued learning.
An online Q&A session will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 4 p.m. ET. Click here to sign up.
Application deadline: May 3, 2019
