Join the 2026 Homeless Response Peer Network

June 16, 2026

The Housing Solutions Lab is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Homeless Response Peer Network, an initiative designed to help cities strengthen coordination and foster cross-system collaboration between local housing agencies and continuums of care (CoCs).

As local systems nationwide face mounting pressure from federal policy shifts, rising homelessness and housing instability, and limited local resources, the Network will help cities assess their local systems while simultaneously equipping them with new opportunities for cross-agency partnerships within the housing sector and beyond.

The Network will bring together six to eight city teams for virtual peer learning, technical assistance, and strategy development on local homeless response efforts. Participating cities will benefit from peer collaboration and networking opportunities, including a shared space to workshop challenges and policy options. Participants will also have access to experts in the field and tailored technical assistance to develop:

  • A clear assessment of the strengths, gaps, and priorities of their homeless response system
  • A practical action plan to strengthen partnerships, improve service coordination, and better align resources
  • A more robust, cross-sector network to support the successful implementation of these efforts

The Lab seeks expressions of interest from city teams that include both the lead agency for the local Continuum of Care and a municipal government leader, such as a representative from the Mayor’s Office, housing, or community development department. Successful applicants must have decision-making authority and a strong commitment to improving housing and homeless response systems.

How to Apply

Interested participants should review the full Network description and submit an expression of interest form below by Friday, July 17 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The Lab will schedule follow-up calls with selected applicants by late July. The Network will meet over six sessions between September 2026 and February 2027, with opportunities for continued peer support and assistance.
